A half-day retreat for those with HYT empowerments (or planning to take them soon). Revisit the summer festival teachings and meditations on the extraordinary practices of the female Highest Yoga Tantra deity Vajrayogini. The morning's focus is on gaining meditation experience of the three bringings into the path to enlightenment.
Afterwards, there's a community 'bring & share'

About the retreat leader
Gen Jangchub is the Resident Teacher at Akanishta Kadampa Buddhist Centre. An English Buddhist monk, he has practised Kadampa Buddhism for over 25 years, and is valued for the clarity, warmth, and practical example he brings to his teachings.
Tickets: Free for members | Single ticket £20
Parking: There's free parking behind the meditation centre for visitors.
Accessibility: The centre is accessed via a ramp at the front of the building, level throughout and has an accessible toilet. A local charity: Akanishta Kadampa Buddhist Centre is a local charity entirely run and supported by volunteers, class fees and donations. We receive no regular grants. Registered charity number 1125213.
Cancellations: If you cancel 3 days in advance we offer a full refund for all events and all tickets. You can action this through Ticket Tailor using the 'Manage Tickets' button at the top of events listings and on booking confirmation emails. If you cancel less than 3 days before we are unable to offer a refund. If you need help cancelling a booking you can email hello@meditationincheltenham.org.uk (We're a small charity and response time is typically 2-3 days).
